Kelly Crown, PA, is a UW Health Kids physician assistant in pediatric orthopedic surgery. She works with surgeons and other providers to treat children, adolescents and young adults with orthopedic concerns and disorders that affect the bones, muscles, joints and connective tissues.
Kelly evaluates kids with pain, uneven limbs, toe walking and limping. She cares for patients with broken bones (fractures), hip disorders and bone-structure problems. These include toes that point inward or outward, knock knees, bowlegs, flat feet or curled toes.
Kelly has a special interest in sports medicine and treats sports injuries and other muscle and bone injuries. She assists orthopedic surgeons in the operating room and sees patients during and after their hospital stays.
As part of a multispecialty team, she addresses children’s needs through changing stages of development. Kelly develops comprehensive, patient-focused care plans. She educates patients and families and takes time to address their concerns.
During her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends. She stays active being outdoors, hiking, biking, swimming and waterskiing and she also volunteers as a Special Olympics track and field coach.
As a former D1 athlete with a background in exercise science, I’m especially motivated by working with kids and helping them return to sports and play.
