Judith Schlieckau, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner specializing in endocrinology.
Judith cares for patients with conditions affecting the endocrine system, the organs and glands that produce hormones. She treats people with hormone imbalances. This includes thyroid and pituitary disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
Judith also helps patients manage hypothyroidism and other hormone-related concerns during pregnancy. Her clinical interests include gender-affirming care for people with gender dysphoria.
Dedicated to restoring balance in her patients’ lives, Judith encourages them to take an active role in their health care. She listens closely to their concerns and educates them on their conditions. By working together, she helps each patient make informed decisions about their care.
Outside of work, Judith enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and being outdoors.
I enjoy helping patients improve their health by empowering them to actively participate in their care.
