Jessica Marinaro, MD, is a UW Health urologist and assistant professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She cares for people and couples who are working toward pregnancy, with a focus on male infertility.
Dr. Marinaro has a special interest in working closely with reproductive endocrinologists who focus on fertility and hormones. By partnering with this team, she helps optimize outcomes for couples undergoing fertility treatments.
Dr. Marinaro’s care philosophy is to first understand each patient’s family building goals. She then uses a multidisciplinary approach, which means bringing the right specialists together, to help patients move toward those goals. Her research interests include microsurgical management of male infertility, sperm DNA fragmentation and ways to improve fertility treatment outcomes for men with severe infertility.
Outside of work, Dr. Marinaro enjoys golfing, trying new restaurants and spending time with family.
