Jenny Hennegar, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner specializing in pediatrics and adolescent medicine. Jenny cares for newborns, infants, children and adolescents with a wide variety of acute and chronic illnesses.   Jenny makes diagnoses, prescribes medication and orders lab tests. She also performs well-child exams and helps children and families manage chronic medical conditions, such as ADHD and asthma. Jenny has a special interest in the overall health and well-being of young people. She provides preventive care and enjoys teaching children how to eat nutritious foods, exercise regularly and make healthy lifestyle choices. When not caring for patients, Jenny enjoys traveling, camping and reading. I hope to make a difference in children’s lives by promoting health and wellness at a young age before they adopt unhealthy lifestyle choices.
