Jenny Hennegar, NP

Jenny Hennegar, NP, is a UW Health Kids pediatric nurse practitioner.

Jenny cares for newborns, infants, children and adolescents up to 21 years. She provides preventive care and treats acute illnesses, like respiratory infections, eczema and acne. She also sees patients with chronic health conditions, including asthma and ADHD.

Jenny provides holistic patient care. She aims to support the well-being of patients and their families, rather than simply focusing on disease.

Jenny values clear communication. She listens carefully to understand patients’ symptoms and goals for care. She partners with patients and their families to design care plans that best fit their unique needs and circumstances.

With a background in neonatal intensive care, Jenny has a soft spot for babies and their new parents. She enjoys building lasting relationships and supporting them throughout childhood and adolescence.

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys reading, gardening and international travel.

Working with kids gives me the opportunity to teach them about good lifestyle choices that can support their health for a lifetime.
