Jennifer Howard, NP

Jennifer Howard, NP is a UW Health nurse practitioner specializing in neonatology.

She cares for newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), including premature infants and babies with breathing difficulties, infections, birth defects or other complex medical conditions. Jennifer’s role includes performing assessments, managing treatments, monitoring progress and supporting families throughout their baby’s care.

As part of the neonatology team, Jennifer works closely with neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists and other specialists to provide coordinated, family-centered care.

Supporting parents and caregivers during a stressful time is a priority for Jennifer. She focuses on clear communication and compassionate guidance, helping families understand their baby’s condition, treatment options and ongoing needs.
