Jaime Pechacek, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in general surgery. She provides preoperative and postoperative care for patients in the hospital.

Jaime cares for patients before and after surgery to treat a variety of severe conditions. These conditions include appendicitis, cholecystitis (inflamed gall bladder), bowel obstructions and diverticulitis (inflammation in the small pouches of the digestive tract). She also assists both the emergency surgery and minimally invasive surgery teams during procedures.

Jaime strives to provide comprehensive support to patients as they navigate critical conditions. She empowers her patients to actively participate in their care by listening to their concerns and partnering with them to make choices about their health.

Outside of work, Jaime enjoys baking, exploring the outdoors and spending time with her family.
