Heather Potter, MD, is a UW Health ophthalmologist and a professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She specializes in diseases of the retina, macula and vitreous and provides advanced medical and surgical care for complex eye conditions.
Dr. Potter has a special interest in cataract surgery, femtosecond laser cataract surgery, glaucoma laser procedures and premium toric and multifocal lens implants for astigmatism and presbyopia. She is committed to delivering patient-centered care, emphasizing thoughtful diagnosis and tailored treatment plans to preserve and restore vision.
Dr. Potter focuses her research on ophthalmic pathology and serves as the ophthalmic pathology fellowship director.
