Gozde Demiralp, MD, is an anesthesiologist at UW Health. She serves as the medical director of the cardiothoracic surgery intensive care unit (ICU) and delivers postoperative critical care treatment to patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgical procedures, including heart and lung transplants. She is also an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Demiralp has a particular clinical interest in the use of mechanical circulatory devices —including using extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machines — to provide patients with leading-edge, advanced critical care.
