About

Elizabeth Rushing, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in general neurology. She provides care for patients with brain, spinal cord and nerve disorders.  

Elizabeth sees patients who have a wide range of conditions affecting the nervous system. She cares for people with epilepsy (a seizure disorder), multiple sclerosis (an autoimmune disease that attacks the brain and spinal cord) and neuropathy (nerve damage that causes pain, weakness or numbness). She also helps patients manage other neurologic diseases, including movement disorders, like Parkinson’s disease, and headache disorders, like migraines.  

Dedicated to providing whole-person care, Elizabeth collaborates with other specialists to address all aspects of her patients’ health. She firmly believes that knowledge empowers peopleand she strives to boost her patient’s confidence through education. Through active listening and shared decision-making, Elizabeth helps her patients improve their quality of life and get back to doing what they love.  

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys crocheting, hiking and caring for her houseplants.

I enjoy teaming up with my patients to help them take ownership of their health and improve their quality of life.
