Daniel Bennett, MD, a fellowship-trained dermatologist and dermatopathologist at UW Health and a professor and the vice chair of clinical affairs at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Dermatology. He specializes in dermatopathology, the examination of skin tissue to diagnosis skin conditions.

In addition to diagnosing and treating skin conditions, Dr. Bennett’s clinical interests include patient safety and quality care for all, including those who come from historically marginalized groups. As part of his mission, he provides care for incarcerated patients with complex skin diseases.

Dr. Bennett’s research focuses on the biology of melanoma (skin cancer) with a goal of finding new ways to treat the disease.
