About

Cristina Delgadillo, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician who is bilingual. Dr. Delgadillo provides health care services for children from birth through age 18. She provides preventive services including well-child visits, vaccinations and injury prevention. Dr. Delgadillo commonly sees children and teens with sports injuries, ear infections, strep throat, anxiety and depression.

Dr. Delgadillo is fluent in both English and Spanish. She uses her bilingual abilities to care for children and families from diverse backgrounds. She became a doctor so she could serve her community. The ability to communicate with patients who speak different languages allows her to help even more people.

Dr. Delgadillo works to partner with the family in the health and wellness of the child. She develops close relationships to build trust and open communication. She wants them to know there’s a health care provider who cares about them and is on their side. Dr. Delgadillo wants all kids to be happy and healthy — and she knows that looks different for each individual patient.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Delgadillo is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Delgadillo enjoys spending time with her family, including her three children.

I try to share my experiences as a parent with my patient families. In this way, they know that what I’m recommending for their child is something I’ve also done for my very own child.
