Acerca de

Brandon Temte, DO, is a UW Health pulmonary and critical care medicine doctor and an assistant professor in the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He sees patients in the clinic as well as those who are hospitalized.

In the clinic, he treats people with breathing problems like asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other lung-related issues. In the hospital, Dr. Temte cares for patients with serious lung diseases and those who are critically ill. He works at both the VA and University Hospital.

Dr. Temte believes that every patient deserves care that is tailored to their unique needs. He uses the best available medical information to help guide patients through their illness with kindness and understanding. His goal is to make sure patients know what is causing their symptoms and feel confident about the next steps in their care.

In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Temte also does research. He studies how to use computer programs to help predict which patients with serious breathing problems might need help from a ventilator. This research helps doctors make better decisions and improve care for patients with lung conditions.
