About

Brandon Bykowski, LCSW, (he/him) is a licensed clinical social worker at UW Health. He provides individual and group therapy to adults managing an array of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, bipolar, ADHD and relationship problems.

Drawing from a breadth of psychological knowledge and clinical interventions, Brandon works to help patients develop deeper insights, alleviate emotional suffering and make meaningful improvements in their lives.

Brandon listens with compassion and offers strategies to help patients overcome difficult challenges. He believes the key to effective care is authentic relationships built on trust, understanding and mutual respect.

With the goal of aiding the next generation of counselors, Brandon also serves as a clinical supervisor for provisionally licensed therapists in training. Brandon finds the process of helping new therapists develop their clinical skills to be very rewarding and professionally enriching.

Therapy can help people learn more effective ways to cope, derive meaning from painful experiences, implement strategies to prevent suffering and transcend challenging adversities.
