Bethany Westerfeldt, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiology and heart transplant care. Bethany works with patients who have end stage heart disease, a severe form of heart failure. She helps patients stabilize their conditions and supports them during the transition to getting mechanical circulatory support devices (device that supports heart function) or heart transplantation. Bethany strives to help her patients feel comfortable and supported. She listens to their concerns and partners with them and their families to create care plans that best suit their unique needs. Outside of work, Bethany enjoys traveling, gardening and doing home remodeling projects. My goal is to help people get better, live longer and stay out of the hospital.
