Acerca de

Austin Stuckert, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric oncologist. She specializes in pediatric neuro-oncology, which means she cares for children with brain and spinal cord tumors. Dr. Stuckert is also an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she is involved in clinical and translational research, working to improve treatments for childhood cancers.

Dr. Stuckert’s focus is treating children with brain and spinal cord tumors. She is trained in both oncology and hematology, so she also sees patients with blood cancers and blood disorders. Her research background includes cellular therapy for brain tumors, and she is working to bring new clinical trials to UW Health.

Dr. Stuckert believes in building trust with patients and families. She takes time to explain treatments clearly and listens carefully to their questions and concerns. She includes families in decision-making and works to make sure they feel supported and informed. She also works closely with other specialists to provide the best care possible.

Outside of work, Dr. Stuckert enjoys spending time with her family. She has two young children who keep her busy, and most of her free time is spent with them. She values quality time at home and appreciates the chance to connect with patients and families on a personal level.

I hope that all of my patients feel like they are really getting the best care possible at UW Health. I hope that they feel like we are using a collaborative approach, and that we're including all of the disciplines that can help them get the best care possible.
