Andréa Janquart LPC, CSAC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor, who earned her Master of Rehabilitation Psychology degree and Bachelor of Rehabilitation Psychology from UW-Madison. Andréa is experienced in providing individual psychotherapy for mental health and substance use disorders, as well as facilitating group therapy for a variety of psychosocial concerns and health related issues. Andréa is established and experienced in providing therapy that is multifocal in addressing many areas of the human condition, with extensive experience and specialization in the treatment of mental health issues including: mood disorders, anxiety and stress disorders, trauma and PTSD, personality disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, process addictions, substance use disorders, as well as working with individuals and families that may be affected by a loved one’s addiction issues. Andréa is skilled in providing numerous other evidence-based treatment such as Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Interpersonal Therapy (ITP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Activation, Motivational Interviewing, and she has considerable experience using various Mindfulness-Based techniques and treatment interventions. Her orientation to psychotherapy has concentration based in existential, humanistic, and transpersonal theories of psychotherapy. Her approach to therapy is founded in nonjudgment, unconditional acceptance and respect for all aspects and parts of a person, including one’s culture, background, experiences and perspectives. Andréa has experience working with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and lived experiences, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ populations and people with varying levels of abilities.
