Allison Grayev, MD, is a UW Health radiologist and an associate professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health where she also serves as the assistant residency program director. Dr. Grayev specializes in brain and spine imaging. She is fellowship-trained and uses advanced technologies and procedures to diagnose neurological conditions affecting the brain, spine and nerves, including traumatic injuries, diseases and complications. Dr. Grayev  conducts research to advance the understanding and use of imaging to improve patient care. Her current research includes the study of diagnostic radiology and diagnostic predictors of complications related to neck trauma in critically ill patients. I chose to specialize in radiology because I wanted to help people through leading-edge science, technology and patient-centered care.
