Acerca de

Alex Christl, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in neurosurgery. He cares for patients with brain, spine and nerve conditions who might need surgery.

Alex treats people with acute and chronic pain, injuries and disorders involving the back and neck, including lumbar spinal stenosis, cervical stenosis and disk herniations. As part of the surgery team, he sees patients with brain conditions such as tumors and brain bleeds.

Alex also helps people with chronic (long-lasting) pain caused by nerve disorders. He works with patients who have conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome and trigeminal neuralgia (a condition that causes severe face pain).

Whether his patients need support during surgery or help managing pain, Alex stands by them every step of the way. He sees every patient as a person first: A beloved wife, husband, son or daughter. He offers the same compassion and respects he would give his own family.

When he’s not at work, Alex enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He also looks forward to cheering on the Packers every season.

I hope to use my knowledge to make a difference in my patients’ lives.
