Akshitha Sreeram, DPM

Akshitha Sreeram, DPM, is a UW Health podiatrist and foot and ankle surgical specialist. She treats patients with lower extremity conditions. These include arthritis, heel pain, flat feet and fractures.

Dr. Sreeram has clinical interests in minimally-invasive surgery, correcting hindfoot deformity and total ankle replacement. These treatments aim to increase function and lower pain. They can range from noninvasive to complex surgery.

Problems with feet and ankles can make it painful to walk and be active. Dr. Sreeram chose to work in podiatry to help improve the quality of her patients’ lives. The treatments and care she offers patients help them get back to living life the way they want.

In her free time, Dr. Sreeram enjoys playing pickleball, traveling, scuba diving and spending time with her family.

I believe effective treatment comes from actively listening to my patients about their goals and partnering to tailor a specific plan that works for them.
