Pulsed Reduced-Dose Rate Radiation Therapy (PRDR)

Pulsed Reduced-Dose Rate Radiation Therapy (PRDR) is a radiation delivery technique that slowly delivers radiation to the tumor over a period of approximately 45-60 minutes each day of treatment.

The goal of this technique is to reduce toxicity to normal brain tissue around the tumor, while delivering a high dose of radiation to the tumor. It can be used to treat a variety of tumors, including:

  • Meningiomas
  • Brain tumors, both benign and malignant

We have used this technique to help many patients that had no other treatment options available to them.
