About

Seton Christenson-Houg, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in family medicine. She provides primary health care for patients of all ages.

Seton cares for patients with a wide range of general health concerns. She helps patients manage acute (short-term) issues, such as coughs, colds and skin conditions, and chronic (long-term) problems, including high blood pressure and diabetes. Additionally, Seton offers women’s health services.

As an advocate of patient-centered care, Seton enjoys building meaningful connections with people at all stages of life. She ensures that patients feel heard by prioritizing active listening and open communication. She involves patients in all aspects of their care by encouraging them to voice their questions and concerns and by working with them to make decisions about their health.

Outside of work, Seton enjoys hiking, playing board games and spending time with her family and dog.

My hope for patients is that they leave feeling heard, supported and confident in the next steps of their care.
