About

Rebecca Langer, RDN, is a UW Health Kids registered dietitian nutritionist. She provides expert nutrition care for infants and children who need help with feeding, including those who require tube feeding. Rebecca also works with children and teens who have prediabetes, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and other related conditions. Her goal is to help young patients manage their health through personalized nutrition plans.

Rebecca has a special interest in supporting neurodiverse children who have trouble with food selectivity, which means they may only eat certain foods. She also focuses on helping kids and teens with diabetes not only manage their condition but also cope with the emotional and mental challenges that can come with it.

Rebecca uses her deep knowledge of nutrition science to guide her care. She believes in using nutrition as a powerful tool to improve health and well-being. Her approach is based on research and tailored to each child’s needs. She works closely with families to create nutrition plans that are realistic, supportive, and comforting.

Outside of her work, Rebecca enjoys gravel biking in the Driftless Area and discovering new mountain bike trails with her partner and dog. She also loves spending time in nature through tent camping.
