Dr. Hansen is a neurologist and an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health specializing in neuromuscular disorders including ALS and muscular dystrophy. He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin followed by a residency in neurology and a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at Case Western Reserve University Affiliated Hospitals.

His medical interests include all neuromuscular disorders, EMG and neuromuscular ultrasound. When teaching, Dr. Hansen’s focus is on ethics and evidence-based medicine.
