Megan Gour, MSW, APSW

Megan Gour (they/them) is an advanced practice social worker and has been working in the field of social work for 10+ years. They specialize in working with transgender, gender diverse and queer young individuals. As a social worker, Megan believes that each person is the expert of their life and Megan's role is not to change patients. However, Megan comes along side each person to help them find and use tools in their own lives to become their most authentic self. Throughout their career Megan has worked to advocate, educate, and create safe places for LGBTQ+ individuals. They helped to open the first LGBTQ+ resource space on campus while obtaining their undergraduate degree in Utah, have worked with multiple agencies to create safe and inclusive policies for LGBTQ+ people and continue to advocate however possible for all LBGTQ+ individuals.
