Marcus Maier, PA

Marcus Maier, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health. Working with the orthopedic spine surgery team, Marcus cares for adults who suffer from back and neck pain.

Marcus treats a wide-range of issues, including scoliosis, disk bulges, radicular pain (pain that radiates from an inflamed or compressed nerve) and arthritis of the neck and spine. His goal is to ease pain and help patients stay as active as possible.

In his free time, Marcus likes to stay active, too. He also enjoys family time with his children, playing bass guitar and reading medical history books.

The most rewarding part of this job is when a patient — who was once miserable — walks happily into our clinic with no pain or pain well-managed after treatment. That’s a big win.
