Jourdan Valkner Krause, OD

Jourdan Valkner Krause, OD, is a UW Health optometrist. She provides eye and vision care for patients of many ages.

Dr. Valkner Krause treats refractive error, binocular vision disorders, amblyopia and ocular disease. Her clinical interest includes pediatrics and caring for patients with disabilities and complex medical needs.

Dr. Valkner Krause chose optometry with an emphasis in pediatrics because she grew up with amblyopia and often visited the eye doctor as a child. She strives to help every patient feel seen and supported and to make sure they leave their exam comfortable with the next steps.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, following sports and spending time with her family.
