Heidi Kloster, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician and an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She cares for children with a variety of complex health conditions. As an experienced pediatrician in the UW Health Kids Complex Care Program, Dr. Kloster works with a team of specialists. Together, they provide comprehensive support for children between the ages of 0-21 years with complicated health concerns. She specializes in guiding families and caregivers through challenging diagnoses and helps them access the best possible care for her young patients. 

Dedicated to enhancing her patients’ overall health and wellness, Dr. Kloster strives to provide high-quality, compassionate care. She understands the importance of shared decision-making and works with patients and their loved ones to create tailored treatments. As a partner to her patients, she helps them navigate their conditions and improve their quality of life. 

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kloster researches the well-being of those who care for children with medically complex conditions.   

Outside of work, Dr. Kloster enjoys hiking, experimenting in the kitchen and spending time with her son and dog. I’m committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care. I enjoy collaborating with families to address their unique needs and improve their quality of life.
