Courtney Anderson, NP

Courtney Anderson, NP, is a UW Health Kids nurse practitioner in pediatric and adolescent medicine.

She offers newborn and primary care for children from birth through age 18.

Courtney treats general illnesses, medical conditions and minor injuries, including respiratory infections, earaches, skin rashes, nutrition problems and diabetes. She provides well-child checks and physical exams to monitor her patients’ growth and development. Courtney also sees patients with ADHD, anxiety and mental health issues. As needed, she refers her patients to pediatric specialists.

During office visits, Courtney takes time to talk with her patients and families and get to know them. She listens to their concerns, answers questions, and offers guidance and support. Using a team approach, Courtney partners with families to create treatment plans for their children. She also educates them about good health and wellness practices. Her goal is to set up her young patients for the best possible long-term health so they can live full, active lives.

During her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family. A former boxer, Courtney is an official with USA Boxing and a part-time boxing coach.

I teach children healthy living patterns so they can, hopefully, manage and decrease illness and enjoy happy, productive futures.
