About

Adam Samuel, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant. He provides care for neurosurgical and neurological patients who are critically ill and need around-the-clock monitoring and quick treatment.

Adam cares for patients with stroke, brain bleeds, seizures, trauma, brain tumors, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and central nervous system infections. He also supports patients before and after surgery. His clinical interests include complex, high-acuity medical and surgical care, treating health problems that affect more than one body system, managing acute and chronic conditions at the same time and performing procedures when needed.

Adam chose medicine to help patients during some of the most frightening times of their lives. He sees it as an honor and a privilege to be there during these moments. He also believes it is important to support and educate family members. His approach is to treat every patient as if they were his own loved one, so they receive the best possible care.

Outside of work, Adam is an avid reader. He also enjoys trying new coffee shops and restaurants around the Madison area and going on lakeside walks.
