Hearty Beef Stew
2 #’s lean beef, cut in cubes
5 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 onion, cut up
3 stalks celery, sliced
1 can ( 1 lb, 12 oz.) tomatoes
½ cup quick cooking tapioca
½ tsp. ground cloves
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into slow cooker. Cook on low for 7 to 9 hours until meat and vegetables are tender.
