UW Health Partners to Provide Senior Preferred in Dane County
UW Health Senior Preferred is the newest Medicare Advantage plan offered to residents of Dane County who are eligible for Medicare. UW Health Senior Preferred plans offer superior coverage, such as prescription drug coverage, fitness center reimbursement and vision and hearing aid benefits – all with guaranteed access to UW Health clinics and hospitals.
Starting October 1, an advertising campaign featuring UW Health Senior Preferred rolled out in Dane County. In advance of the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) that starts on October 15 and continues through December 7, prospective members can visit SeniorPreferred.org. This website is dedicated to the Senior Preferred program and provides information to help enrollees navigate the complexities of Medicare.
As a nationally recognized Medicare Advantage Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) Plan administered by Gundersen Health Plan, Senior Preferred has been serving Medicare beneficiaries for seventeen years.
UW Health Senior Preferred has several plan options. All plans offer comprehensive medical coverage including worldwide coverage for emergency and urgent care, fixed premiums regardless of your age and additional benefits not found in Original Medicare. Plans are available with or without Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage, allowing you to select the plan benefits and premiums that best match your needs.
