Two heartsThe Go Red for Women's Luncheon was held on April 17, 2008 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison.
More than 500 women and men attended the luncheon to support education and awareness of cardiovascular disease in women. Keynote speaker Diana Nyad, world-class athlete and journalist, captivated the audience with her very personal stories about training to become one of the greatest long-distance swimmers in the world.
The event raised $140,000, a 30 percent increase over last year's luncheon.
Mark your calendars for next year's luncheon, which will be held on April 16, 2009 at Monona Terrace.
