This support group is for patients who are newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. The purpose of this group is to answer questions such as:

  • What causes PD?
  • What steps can I take to live well with PD?
  • What can I expect from the future?
  • What resources are available for family and friends that care for me?

These sessions are also a way for patients, families and friends to connect and share with each other in a friendly and caring environment. 

 

Sessions are held at the UW Health Arboretum Clinic, 1102 South Park Street.

Moving Forward Seminar Series

 

You may be also be interested in attending Moving Forward, a free seminar series featuring experts who talk about movement disorder-related subjects. Moving Forward sessions are held the second Monday of the month, except June and July, when they are held the first Monday of the month 6:30–8pm.
