Class Spotlight: TRX Yoga Flow

Coming in July!

 

TRX is a great strength training method using a unique suspension system that helps you learn to feel and use the effect of gravity on your body in new and challenging postural positions. Vinyasa-style yoga is a type of yoga that unites movement with breath. This summer we’re combining both great workouts into one class! TRX Yoga Flow is designed to be the best combination of TRX brand suspension training coupled with vinyasa-style yoga.

 

The class will begin with a TRX workout and then you will cross-over to a flowing sequence of yoga poses coordinated with the movements of the breath. Taken together, you will experience a progression of postures, and controlled dynamic movements that are linked together to enhance balance, strength and flexibility. Both workouts to allow you to work at whatever level you are in at that moment.

Karla Bock, who has over 20 years teaching and coaching experience here at the Sports Medicine Fitness Center will be teaching this class. In addition to multiple other classes, Karla currently teaches TRX Complete (Wed. 6am) and Power Flow Yoga (Fri. 6:30am) classes.
