Conditions and treatments

Experts in treating a wide range of conditions

Our infusion center care teams get to know our patients because they’re typically here for several treatments. Whether you’re coming for treatment of arthritis, cancer, an immunodeficiency or one of many other conditions, our dedicated Infusion Services team will be there to support you every step of the way, regardless of which of our many convenient locations you visit.

We take time to listen, answer your questions and make sure you are properly cared for throughout your treatment. Whether it’s your first infusion or one of several, we aim to treat you as we would a member of our own family.

What to expect with infusion treatments

Infusion treatment means that medication or fluids are delivered directly into your body through a thin catheter or needle. To ensure your safety, computerized pumps control the rate of the infusion so you receive exactly the right amount of medicine or fluids over the right amount of time.

Infusions can be given through a standard IV line (usually through a vein in the arm) or through a central line such as a PICC line or port. To help you get the most out of your treatments, the infusion team offers other helpful support services, such as:

  • Assessment and evaluation of your condition

  • Educational and instructional materials to help you and your family members better understand your care and treatment

  • Ongoing collaboration with your primary care physician or oncologist
