Rachel Miller, NP

Rachel Miller, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in cardiovascular medicine. She cares for patients with critical heart conditions.

Rachel specializes in treating people with heart failure at all stages, both in the clinic and the hospital. She helps patients who might need a heart transplant or a left ventricular assist device implant (a device that assists the heart in pumping blood) to improve their health.

Rachel entered the medical profession to educate and empower patients to reach their health goals. She works closely with each person to optimize their daily habits and medications so they can feel their best. Understanding the challenges her patients face, Rachel partners with them to enhance their quality of life.

Outside of work, Rachel stays active by hiking, biking and exploring the outdoors with her husband and dogs. She also enjoys listening to music, doing arts and crafts and spending time with family and friends.

I strive to meet patients where they are and empower them to be advocates for their health.
