Stephanie Shulman, NP

Stephanie Shulman, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who treats critically ill surgical and trauma patients in the surgical critical care unit. She works closely with other medical teams to provide the highest level of care. Stephanie provides constant communication with her patients and their families to help them navigate the often complex and overwhelming journey of an ICU stay.

For Stephanie, nursing is more than just treating symptoms. She strives to create connections with her patients, provide support and improve their quality of life. It’s very rewarding to Stephanie when she can help others by providing compassionate and personalized care.

Outside of the clinic, Stephanie enjoys creating art, fishing, kayaking and other outdoor activities.

There is a profound sense of fulfillment that comes from knowing I can make a positive impact on someone's health and well-being.
