Richard Feinberg, MD, FACS

Richard Feinberg, MD, FACS, is a UW Health vascular surgeon. He has been practicing for more than 30 years and is board certified in vascular surgery. Dr. Feinberg currently leads the UW Health Vein Center, where he focuses on treating patients with venous issues. 

Dr. Feinberg specializes in vein care, including the treatment of varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency and venous thrombosis. His clinical interest lies in helping patients with venous diseases, particularly those seeking relief from discomfort or cosmetic concerns. He uses a variety of treatment options, many of which are minimally invasive and do not require surgery. 

Dr. Feinberg believes in a patient-centered approach to care. He emphasizes the importance of listening to patients and involving them in treatment decisions. He educates patients thoroughly about their options and works collaboratively to develop personalized care plans. His goal is to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes with minimal discomfort. 

Dr. Feinberg is also a clinical professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he is deeply committed to educating the next generation of physicians and surgeons. He teaches residents through hands-on procedures and lectures, contributing to the academic mission of UW Health.
