Kristin Doerfer, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She diagnoses and treats urological disorders in patients, including diseases of the kidneys and bladder, as well as disorders affecting reproductive organs for those assigned male at birth.

Kristin treats conditions including incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary tract infections (UTIs), prostate disease, renal (kidney) disease and tumors. She specializes in diagnosing and managing kidney stones.

Offering personalized evaluation and care, Kristin partners with her patients and offers positive solutions to manage their conditions. She also shares proactive steps her patients can take to improve their overall health and well-being.

Outside of work, Kristin likes to spend time with her family hiking, boating and traveling.

I entered the medical profession to take care of people. I educate patients about their disease or diagnosis, and we work together to develop a plan that meets their needs.
