About

Julie Sherry, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist with a doctorate in physical therapy and advanced expertise in orthopedic and spinal rehabilitation. Julie cares for patients with conditions that affect the muscles, bones, spine and supporting ligaments, tendons and tissues.

Julie evaluates conditions and symptoms such as muscle, joint, bone and spinal pain, and provides tailored physical therapies and rehabilitative care. She treats patients with spinal injuries and disorders such as spondylolysis (weakness or stress fracture in spinal bones), scoliosis (curved spine), neck and back pain, and other orthopedic (muscle, bone and joint) conditions.

Taking a holistic approach to care, Julie provides conventional physical therapies as well as alternative or complementary therapies. She has expertise in electrical stimulation to treat specific nerves and muscles. She also offers novel treatments such as trigger point dry needling, which involves inserting fine needles into the skin to ease muscle pain.

I provide patients with the type of physical therapy experience that will be the most effective and efficient way to achieve their goals.
