Position Description: The Department of Dermatology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking General and Pediatric Dermatologists to join our 17 clinical faculty in practice sites within a 10-mile radius of our central Madison location. Our clinical programs have regional and national reputations for excellence. Our education programs offer dermatology and medicine/dermatology residencies, as well as a procedural dermatology fellowship. All candidates must be board certified or board eligible. Our basic research funding ranks in the top 10 in the country, and our clinical research programs are growing. Position Description: The Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Division brings together specialists to provide clinical care at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, William S. Middleton Memorial Hospital, area community hospitals and UW Health outreach clinics. In addition, our faculty lead nationally recognized Asthma and Pulmonary research that is funded through the National Institutes of Health. We provide specialized training in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine to fellows, medicine and anesthesiology residents as well as medical students. The successful candidate will lead the Critical Care Service in our division, collaborate with leaders of the Neuroscience and Surgical ICUs and have an opportunity for a leadership role at the medical center. The successful candidate will join our faculty practicing in a 450-bed, community-based tertiary care teaching hospital, with responsibility for the internal medicine teaching service and strong support from hospital administration. This position offers a full complement of pulmonary and critical care procedures and responsibilities. Call is one in seven with the convenience of a clinic located within the facility.
