Quality Reports: Hormone Therapy for Treatment of Tumors

The UW Health Breast Center is committed to helping all patients improve their breast health at all stages of life.

Hormone Therapy for Treatment of Tumors

Hormone therapy has been shown to be an effective treatment for many patients with progesterone- or estrogen-receptor positive tumors.

Our Quality Measures

The table below displays the percentage of female breast cancer patients 18 years old or older for whom hormone therapy is considered or administered within one year (365 days) of diagnosis for treatment of progesterone- and estrogen-receptor positive tumors. The diagnosis is a first diagnosis of breast cancer (epithelial malignancy) at AJCC stage I, II or III.

Note: 93.2 percent of the patients in the sample below received hormone therapy.
