Kristin Rindt, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in hematology (blood disorders) and oncology (cancer care). She works with other specialists to care for patients who have cancer, blood disorders and related conditions or complications. Kristin educates, guides and advocates for cancer patients with complex conditions. She helps patients to understand their diagnosis and treatments and to manage related symptoms and challenges. When teaching patients about chemotherapies, Kristin ensures that they know what to expect, from scheduling details to potential side effects. She helps patients adjust to new treatments and care plans that change. She works with them to resolve personal concerns and manage complications such as nausea or dehydration. Kristin directs patients toward available support and resources to ease cancer-related challenges and improve their quality of life. Kristin also talks with patients about opportunities to participate in open clinical trials investigating promising new therapies. Her areas of expertise include survivorship guidance, which involves helping patients adjust to life after cancer treatment. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys horses, the outdoors and spending time with her family. My goal is to empower and advocate for people who are facing complex medical conditions and challenges.
