The Aquatic Center
To protect the health and safety of everyone in our community, UW Health Center for Wellness at The American Center is suspending all Aquatic Center activities, passes and access through Sunday, April 5. This date could be extended depending on how our community is affected over the next six weeks. All current Aquatic Center passes affected by this suspension will be extended accordingly.
The Aquatic Center at UW Health at The American Center offers the full range of swimming services including lap swimming, classes that can help you improve your fitness level, as well as private swimming lessons.
The Aquatic Center features two pools:
- A 25-yard, four-lane lap pool used for swim performance training, team activities and lap swimming. Lap pool has a ramp for wheelchairs.
- A 90-degree warm water pool for fitness classes and physical therapy. The pool has a ramp for wheelchair access as well as a lift for individuals with disabilities.
Pool passes allow independent use of both pools. Individuals may purchase a one-day pass or a month (30-day) pass. Anyone can use a pool pass or take a class.
Note: Pool passes are not available or valid at the Research Park Aquatic Center.
