Pediatric Sleep Study

Does your child snore? Is your child getting their tonsils out to help with sleep-disordered breathing? If so, would you be willing to have your child participate in an overnight sleep study?

The UW School of Medicine is looking for 3- to 12-year-olds who snore during sleep to take part in a research study examining brain activity during sleep and waking. Participation will involve two study visits. In one visit, you will answer some questions about your sleep, take some tests on a computer and have an MRI of your brain. In the second visit, you will spend the night in a sleep laboratory.

This study does not involve any radiation, medications, or needles. Receive up to $285 for participation in two research sessions. If interested, please contact us at sleepingkids@psychiatry.wisc.edu.
