The Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer Program at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center, the state's only comprehensive cancer center, sees patients with GI cancers.
Our program brings together a multidisciplinary team of specialists including surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, pathologists, nurse practitioners, social workers and health psychologists.
Together, the team develops an highly individualized treatment plan for each patient. To ensure that all treatment options are explored, patient cases are discussed at our weekly multidisciplinary gastrointestinal conference.
