Living Kidney Donation Online Tool Kit

Thousands of people who are currently waiting for a kidney transplant or contemplating the decision to be a living donor are struggling with the fact that kidney transplant wait times are increasing, both here at UW Health and across the nation. Simply stated, more kidney donors are needed. This tool kit includes valuable information to help you better understand living kidney donation.

Accepting a kidney from a living donor, or becoming a living donor yourself, can dramatically reduce the number of people who die while waiting for a kidney transplant. In this video, our team is joined by several recipients and donors to highlight the importance of living donation and the many options available for living donor kidney transplant.
