Harvest of the Month: Savory Squash with Apple Recipe
- 2 apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 Butternut squash, peeled and cubed
- 3 Tbspn dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup white onion, diced
- 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Combine all ingredients in a medium or large crockpot.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or until squash is tender.
- Serve warm.
