Harvest of the Month: Savory Squash with Apple Recipe

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 Butternut squash, peeled and cubed
  • 3 Tbspn dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup white onion, diced
  • 1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium or large crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or until squash is tender.
  3. Serve warm.
