  • Acorn squash
  • Fresh pears, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon dried cranberries/cherries
  • Cinnamon (to taste)
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • Brown sugar


  1. You do not need to peel the squash. Cut it in half crosswise and scoop out the seeds/fibers. Fill the hollow with a mixture of fresh chopped pear, dried cranberries/cherries, cinnamon, butter, and brown sugar.  Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until tender.
