Victoria Egizio, PhD

Dr. Egizio is a clinical psychologist who has worked as a clinician, consultant, and supervisor in a variety of medical settings. She earned a PhD in Clinical and Biological-Health Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and completed post-graduate training in health psychology. She specializes in helping medical patients cope with chronic illnesses. She sees children and adults. Her approach to intervention includes helping individuals understand mind-body interactions, health-related habit change, and enhancing individuals’ resilience. She uses evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational approaches, and other strategies to help individuals build coping skills.
